With Cash Back Credit Cards, you get a 1-5% rebate on what you spend with your credit card.
Most cash back cards offer up to 5% cash back on purchases at supermarkets, drug stores, and gas stations, and 1% on all other purchases. Other credit cards with cash back offers give you a 5% rebate on payments for auto repair, apparel, home improvement stores, and much more.
Think of how much more you can save when you get 5% of every purchase you make back in your pocket. The more you use your cash back card, the more you'll save on purchases. Many people sign up for additional cash back cards to give to family members, in order to maximize their cash back returns.
Some cash back cards require you to "earn" a certain amount of cash back dollars before cashing them in. Other cards put a limit on the maximum amount you can get back in one year. While other cash back credit cards have cash back rewards expire if you don't use your card for a certain amount of time, or don't cash in your rewards soon enough.
