Bad Credit Credit Cards
Just because you have bad credit, doesn't mean you don't have options in choosing a credit card. A credit card is not only good for making purchases easily, but a credit card can build or rebuild your credit history, making you eligible for better credit cards down the road.
There are two main types of bad credit credit cards. Unsecured credit cards function the same way that an ordinary credit card does, except the credit limit is lower, and the fees associated with the card are higher. Secured credit cards are cards backed by a deposit you make into a bank account, which serves as security for the card.
These credit cards are not the best of the batch as they don't come with rewards like cash back, or miles, but these cards can be important to anyone with bad credit. Once you buld up your credit history with one of these cards, you can move up the credit card ladder to the best of credit cards and one day enjoy the benefits that platinum cardholders enjoy.
